Experience in gambling-specific commercial matters is a prerequisite (gained either in-house or in private practice) and a good understanding of associated regulatory issues preferred. Compliance Online, the leading provider of business and legal information to the global gambling and payments industries, is seeking a reporter to provide daily coverage of regulatory, political and market developments affecting North America’s casino, internet gaming and lottery sectors.
You will need to be able to produce clean, engaging copy providing swift analysis of critical industry developments for online publication and distribution to a diverse subscription base via email newsletters.
You will be comfortable speaking with C-level executives, state and federal regulators, lawyers and analysts, and a willingness to expand your own range of contacts is a must.
In addition to reporting, you will be expected to assist the company’s editorial and research teams with various production duties, including sub-editing, graphics, social media and newsletter development.
A keen interest in politics, and its impact on business, is essential. Some experience in business journalism, including company results reporting, and familiarity with In-Design is also preferred.
Pre-existing knowledge or experience writing about the gambling sector is not required. However, you must show enthusiasm for learning quickly about this dynamic and high-profile industry, ultimately finding the sharpest angles to cover legal and policy developments.

Job Title : German VIP Support Representative
Reports to: VIP Team Leader
Specific Responsibility: To provide excellent customer service to VIP Members.
Hours of work: 40 hours per week (which includes break time)
Various shifts on a 24/7, 5 out of 7 day week.
Current shifts are 8-4, 9-5, 4-12 and 5 -1am, with a majority of cover required on the late shifts. Shift patterns can alter, based on changing business needs.

The role of the Job is to provide email, phone and Live Chat support for all VIP members of our brands. The VIP Support Representative is the first line of contact for VIP members and therefore it is essential that he/she represents the company in the most professional and personal manner possible, aligning to the high service standards expected, thus ensuring the satisfaction of these important and highly valued members. To provide service that is oriented towards gaining additional members and to retain existing ones.

Ensure queries and complaints from VIP members are dealt with and resolved promptly.
Provide support via Live chat as required

VIP reps should work independently and use their own initiative.
Bilingual VIP reps may be required from time to time to assist other departments with the translation of documents, manuals or messages and may be required to provide additional support to other departments in the language they support.
VIP reps may be required to undertake special projects for VIP members as directed by the VIP Management Team.
Reps must promote the interests and welfare of the Company at all times
